Octavia has given me the opportunity to develop my skills

I have been working at Octavia for 1 year now. I originally was completing a work experience placement within the Communications Team once I had finished University. After my placement a permanent position became available and I applied. I am now the Communications Trainee.

Within my role I assist my team with general enquiries, ordering of publications for our residents and website updates. No day is the same within my team – one day I could be answering press enquiries and updating social media accounts, and the next I could be organising external events for hundreds of people. 

Octavia has given me the opportunity to develop my skills as well as my confidence. Personal development is engrained within the culture and because of this I have been able to complete a Diploma in Events Management whilst within my role.
