Awards ceremony celebrates our amazing volunteers

June saw our annual celebration of the exceptional work and time our volunteers give to make a difference. It was held at Chelsea Old Town Hall and hosted by actor Tamsin Greig.

These awards are our way of saying thank you to all our 200 volunteers for their commitment over the last year.

This year’s winners, who were announced on the night are:

• Befriending volunteer award: Outstanding volunteer- Charlotte Adams, Highly Commended - Leslie Brett, William Wojysiak
• Project Volunteer Award: Outstanding volunteer - Jude Hynes, Highly commended - David Scott
• Care Volunteer Award: Outstanding Volunteer - Clare Grumbar, Highly Commended - Osha Nahar
• Shop Volunteer Award: Outstanding Volunteer - Allistar Ray Gray, Highly Commended - Dayana Estrada
• Corporate Volunteer Award: Outstanding Volunteer - Sainsbury’s Brompton Road, Highly commended - John Lewis - Online Merchandise Team
• Community Volunteer Award: Outstanding volunteer - Mary Lambert, Highly Commended - Angus Taylor
• Young Volunteer Award: Outstanding Volunteer - Gopesh Pathak, Highly Commended - Thessica Lohan
• Outstanding Volunteer of the Year: Michael Richardson - Volunteer Befriender
