Our newest extra care scheme in Isleworth opens
On the last day of September we held a tea party for new residents and their families to officially open Bridgewater House. This is one of our new developments and it provides independent living for older Hounslow residents with extra care needs. It is our second extra care scheme in Hounslow.
Close to the river Thames and in a conservation area, Bridgewater House provides 36 spacious one and two- bedroom apartments for people aged over 50 who need assisted living support .
It has 32 apartments for affordable rent and four apartments available to buy through shared ownership.
In addition to accommodation and care, the scheme also promotes socialising through stimulating activities. The scheme is both homely and well equipped for people with mobility and sensory issues. It has a dementia friendly design throughout and communal facilities including mobility scooter room on the ground floor where scooters can be stored and charged.
The self-contained apartments provide a safe, secure and supportive environment that offers comfortable living for people with care needs. They have level floors throughout and each has a stylish fitted kitchen with a range of appliances and a wet room bathroom with level access shower. Octavia Care and Support staff are on site 24-hours a day. The level of care provided for each resident is tailored to their own individual need.
If you would like to live in one of the rented homes at Bridgewater House, you will need to be referred by Adult Social Care and you will need to live in the London Borough of Hounslow. If you would like to know more about the shared ownership sale homes, please contact our customer contact team and ask to speak to someone in our sales team.
